People from the town and its surrounding district have been coming to Alnwick Markets for hundreds of years to buy and sell and exchange news with traders and acquaintances. On Market days you can buy local produce, find a bargain and enjoy the genial atmosphere in the Market Place. It is a way of life for many local people who come each week and for visitors it can be an enjoyable part of your day out in Alnwick. Alnwick weekly markets occur every Thursday and Saturday 9am - 4pm during the summer months. During the rest of the year the Saturday market takes place.
