Accommodation at the Lindisfarne Inn |
Our recently completed refurbishment of the whole premises encompassed and extended the accommodation on offer at the Lindisfarne Inn. Once a former stone stable block we have extended this to sleep our guests in considerable comfort.
Accommodation is arranged on 2 floors, ground and first and we do offer disabled facilities on the ground floor. Rooms are arranged as either Double, Twin, Single or Family and all have Ensuite facilities.
As the accommodation block is brand new and custom built the beds, furniture, bathrooms, fixture and fittings and linens are all also new. Standard equipment includes colour television, and a well stocked tea and coffee tray. |
Our rooms are all double glazed and individually centrally heated - important in this part of Northern Northumberland as the temperature drops considerably in the winter.
All rooms are offered with Full English Breakfast. The accommodation block is adjacent to the Inn itself where you can always obtain a hearty and healthy meal as well as a drink.
As a licenced public house the Lindisfarne Inn is the perfect place to relax and recouperate after a hard day on one of the many fascinating tourist trails in Northumberland. The inn offers plenty of onsite parking right next to the accommodation block, pub, and restaurant.

The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is a major tourist attraction and the Inn at Lindisfarne is arguably the best accommodation for miles around. In the summer months accommodation is at a premium. The island is significant in the development of modern day Christianity and as such the island with a population of just 150 receives over 500,000 visitors each year.
Due to the quality of accommodation on offer and the facilities available at the Lindisfarne Inn Pub and Restaurant we recommend visitors book in advance to avoid disappointment.
The accommodation at the Lindisfarne Inn is convenient for Holy Island but also for the historic town of Bamburgh with its magnificent castle. Berwick Upon Tweed lies five miles to the north and a couple of miles beyond you are at the Scottish Border.
The cities of Edinburgh and Newcastle are approximately one hour by car, or a 45 minute train ride from Berwick Upon Tweed. The whole area is within the Northumbrian Coastal Trail designating this part of Northumberland as an area of outstanding natural beauty.
